Alto was established in 1998 by Tony Whitby and Alan Radcliffe and now comprises a team of eight experienced MALE and FEMALE instructors.
We pride ourselves on providing a quality service giving drivers of any experience the confidence and skills required to safely enter the driving community of today.
We will guide you through all aspects of learning to drive, from your first lesson through to your test.
We can provide a realistic Mock Driving Test to help you get used to the forthcoming 'Real' Test which would be conducted by a different Instructor to your own.
Our cars are modern and clean and of course fully insured.
At present we have Vauxhall Corsas, Vauxhall Astras a Ford Fiesta, a Volkswagon Polo, a Toyota Corolla, and a Skoda Fabia.
Our lessons are competitively priced and we offer block booking discounts which are explained on our Prices page.

We also offer PASSPLUS and MOTORWAY courses or just REFRESHER lessons if it is sometime since you last got behind the wheel or even ADVANCED courses if you have always wanted to take your driving a step further.
If you have held a full licence for more than four years and have always wondered if you would enjoy being an Instructor yourself then please contact us as we also provide full INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSES.
